It is always wonderful to receive gifts; but it is very satisfying to give gifts to others, especially those that are less fortunate or are in need of a bit of TLC (tender, loving care). Young children especially love to get gifts; and seeing the delight on their faces as they are given a beautifully wrapped present is a joy to behold.
Chuchubi Foundation promotes a better relationship between St. Maarten and Aruba through cultural and social education and one of its Christmas traditions is to give to young students. This year, Chuchubi Foundation presented Christmas gifts to kindergarten classes at the Oranje and Hillside Christian schools.
The foundation also gave funds raised during the year to help with the school fees of two students – one from Milton Peters College and the other from St. Maarten Academy – and helped a family with outstanding utility bills. Not stopping there, Chuchubi Foundation gave a donation to Mr. Yumay Dormoy for his work with the youth.
